Centre Box Deletion

Have any of you guys deleted your centre exhaust box?
I have a Milltek cat back system and wondered if using their straight through centre box deletion pipe would give my car a 'fruitier' exhaust note or would it just be unbearably boomy?

I have a spare 2.5" supersprint race system centre pipe which gets rid of the box doesn't make it that much louder really IMO. Costs about £100 delivered as its a spare if you can pick up £50 if i gotta send have to be £70 as its heavy and delievey cost my on my old centre pipe £18.50!

I have a jetex system (similar to Miltek) with no mid silencer and TBH sounds exactly the same as the same system with the mid silencer in place.

The non resonated section will make it fruitier
They are not that expensive.
Not being funny , but it could be worth sticking to Milltek with this.

Thanks for everybody's comments! I think I'll go for it with Milltek, for fitment compatability. Spoke to Milltek at Autosport International this year and they offered me a good price. I've got my 60,000 mile service coming up soon at Stealth Racing, so I guess I'll ask Vince to fit it while I'm there.
