Central Locking remote stopped working!

hi can anyone help i got a 2004 leon cupra r and last week the remote stopped working the lght on the remote lights up and i have checked the fuse all ok i have removed the batt on remote for 5 mins and tried it again and still does not operate the centeral locking and i have to do it manually and sets the alarm off if i dont put the key in strait away

I know on vauxhalls you just turn it to position 1 or 2 in the ignition and hold one of the buttons till it lock and unlocks. Worth a try....

mines the same mate think its just the remote thats knacked! Ive tried all the resets etc but nothing so i think a new remote is in order

Ours stopped working like this, and turns out the ecu has gone and one by one the electics in the car go up the shoot. So far we have an air bag/oil light on. Just saving for the £1000 to fix it.
