CD Changer loom Part no 1M2 971 735

My CD multichager is not working as there is no feed coming from the loom part no 1M2 971 735.I have traced the loom from the glovebox where it connects to the changer to the passenger footwell area and noticed a wire that branches off the loom with a 8 pin blue housing not connected to any other part of the electrics??.

Can anyone tell me where the blue housing goes??................I presume it must go to the back of the headunit to power it up but i don't see a connection for where it could go.

It's one of three that fit into the multi-pin socket along the top

You can plug it in on it's own - it goes in the end closest to the edge with the springy clip bit in the middle facing outward

Imagine turning the plug away from you to plug into the right hand side (in the top slot)

the yellow centre ? one was for rear headphone sockets from memory

and yes they can be retrofitted if you have all the right bits
