Carbon fibre MK4 bits ?

I have a bit of a thing for carbon fibre
So i was wondering what CF bits are available for the MK4? Im sure i have seen some mirror covers but cant find them anywhere now
Also does anywhere do tailgate, front wings etc ?

well i have 2 suppliers who do carbon fibre parts and they list absolutly nothing for the mk4. however you can find people who will make parts for you. yo will just have to pay a bit more for it!

so have a hunt around and see if you can find som1 who actually weaves the stuff and they may be able to help!

Yeah,
I know of atleast one place that will make up pretty much what you want so could get bits made but its just a bit pricey
I was hoping for links to a website that did full body panels etc haha

What sort of parts would you be interested in T.spark ?

Front wings?
Tailgate?
Bonnet?
Roof?

Atm mostly front end bits, to get weight off the front axle (currently stands at 80%)

So front wings, bonnet, doors yes.

But you name it, and aslong as its weight is less, im interested.

I think some carbon mirror covers would look pretty cool. Or even door handles would look alittle trick aswell.

I nearly bought some mirror covers off the bay a few months ago but changed my minde at the last mo.

Rod Don has just got some carbo mirror covers, drop him a pm and I'm sure he will help you out.

Yeah you can get mirrors in carbon (might just be look alike stuff though)
And heard (only once) about a bonnet, but dont hold it to it

I've seen the carbon fibre mirror covers before...they are really nice but i'd never pay over 100 quid for them!

I think quite a few of us would fancy a CF bonnet...could we not approach a company and get a group buy going?

I seen on another forum a guy, if he got at least 10 people, would make them up for MK2 ibiza's, so probably would do for MK4

when i had my mk3 we got a group buy we got 10 people put deposit down and they made us a one off batch of cf bonnets..
dont see why they wont do it for the mk4.. only thing they will need a original bonnet to take the mould..
so if anyone has a spare one lying about......???
i would maybe be interested for sure... again
