car wont start can anyone help please

ok i bought my leon cupra about a month ago and i havent had any trouble with it at all until monday when a headlight bulb blew, i bought a new 1 put it in and it still didnt work so i tried a different bulb still dint work, i checked the fuses and found a 15a fuse had gone i replaced it and it blew instantly i then realised that 1 was for the cigarette lighter,
above the big fuses are some smaller ones and i realised that there was a fuse for the headlights i checked it and one of them had blown i went to start my car to go get one but my car just kept turning over and wouldnt start, ive also realised that the traction control light is permanantely on which it never used to be can anyone help much appreciated

What fuse number?
look on the panel you take of to access the fuses and let us know

the big fuse was for the ciggarette light the other blown fuse was for the headlight there are 2 fuses for headlights 1 for offside and 1 for nearside

Not sure what you have done the immobiliser light on the dash goes out i presume?

all the lights go out except the traction control light you know the 1 with ! in the middle and a circle arrow around it?

try the fuel pump relay, if thats gone the car will just turn over but never start

you could try disconnecting you battery and then reconnecting it....might reset something you never know worth a try?

Make sure you have the radio code, if doing the above.

ive tried that it didnt work?
im really stressing about it now as i have just bought the car and wanted a reliable car. ive had so many problems with other cars i thought maybe if i spend a decent amount on a better car it will last me abit longer but it aint?
has anyone had this problem before?

You tried a new relay?

Have a look in your manual and I think there may be a fuse for fuel pump, also check any other fuses related to fuelling or ignition.

Try that and see how you go.

Hi, there. Realise this thread is old, but I have similar symptoms to yours in this thread, and just wondered if you ever got it resolved? If so what fixed the problem?
