car shuders when stud

hi i have a 06 ibiza 1.9tdi FR and sometimes when the car is stud, ie at lights the car shuders like the engine is out of balance or something, it doesnt do it all the time has anyone had this problem or know what it could be

Mines does it too... it comes like that standard.

yes there was some previous discussion about it in the tdi section, have a look back through, also its been noted on briskoda on the new fabia vrs.

Mine shudders too sometimes and mine's a petrol.... what's that all about?? It almost feels like when I had a coil problem in my old fiesta and it was misfiring. But it only does it sometimes. Most other times it's very smooth runnng!!

My 03 TDI Sport 130 did exactly the same when idling. Never did get to the bottom of it, I found that the faintest touch on the accelerator stopped it, and just got in the habit of doing so when stood still.
If you watched the engine idling with the bonnet open you could see it rocking about quite a bit.

PS I think you meant "stood" not "stud", that's something entirely different
