Find out where they get their parts from if you can. I work in a body shop in Bridgwater and we "can't get SEAT parts because the place where we used to get them from has shut down" and we're turning down pretty much every SEAT that comes in. :(

lol, it was a bit more dramatic than that! I understeered coming off a roundabout, let off the accelerator and got lift off oversteer.. caught it one way but pendulum effect just took me round and i ended up hitting a central reservation backwards

what ??FR lights don't have the same background as cupra lights, mine are not as dark as the cupra ones, thats why people keep buying cupra ones

I think the shade has changed slightly from pre-facelift to facelift but the FR/Cupra lights are exactly the same for each generation

Hi Matt, car looks very nice! Very sleek look, colour co-ordinated.
£20 is a great price for the side strips, been quoted £150 recently for mine!
...having a good think before even considering this price.

what a waste of money for a "bigger" spoiler,

if i was to walk by that in the street i wouldnt even notice !

All depends on the style that you are after ?

I've seen a number of cars on the roads with "bigger" spoilers, and to be honest they are laughable. Look totally out of place on the car and tacky.

That's the only reason I'd be noticing them when walking by in the street ;)

Is it just me, but the colour of the rear bumper looks a mile out! In more than one picture too.

Give the guy a break, he's waited a good time to get the this work done. Then posting here the transformations, and he's (his cars) come under quite a grilling! :)

As has been said already in this Thread, the rear bumper *can* look a slightly different tone to the rear end of the car due to the different materials underneath - ie: Plastic bumpers & metal tailgate and panels.

Long story short no! They said that they used the part number I gave them and that is what arrived! Really annoyed but they just say we have replaced it and put it back to how it was which is true. Just thought if they have got to get a new spoiler why not get a cupra one as roughly same price and I think look much better!

Thanks for some of you being complimentary and sticking up for me! Like Bizzaboy said I have waited so long to get work done I wanted to let you guys have a look. I really like it and have no regrets - more mods on the way!

Matt

You cant take them off to keep them off as there are holes in the body work where the side strips push into....you'd be best buying new ones if you want them painted.

Definitely buy new ones if you want them painted I think they cost about £20 for all the side strips total. I suppose you could get the holes ifilled but pretty sure it is going to cost a lot! Just ordered Honda 2000 aerial today on e-bay for £8 so now I will have a short aerial but same reception - another good little mod!
