First thing to do if your mirrors aren't folding is disconnect the negative lead from the battery for a couple of minutes, re-connect and they should be working. This works in 99% of cases. Remember, you'll need your radio code after this as it'll go into safe mode.

The boot lock is not working, probably because the solenoid for the boot lock central locking has seized. This happened on mine only it seized in the unlocked position so the boot didn't lock with the central locking. I couldn't lock it with the key either as the solenoid had jammed solid and prevented the lock from turning. I removed the inner boot trim cracking the plastic in the process and removed the small bent metal pin that connects the solenoid to the lock mechanism. You are then able to operate the lock with the key.

There is an article on ELSAWin about this, the original lock solenoid is too powerful and jams easily. You can fit a modified less powerful one but as far as I know, these are prone to failure as well so I didn't bother.
