Thats sums it up You have never had it, so dont know how useful it is However the mother has it on her Golf Plus and never uses it, as it scared her

Its safed me from points atleast twice. Worth it.

I would love cruise control really would just glad I've not had it for ages then gone to a car without it and become reliant on it to stop me going over the speed limit as you say.

Load of crap, as said 10k for a MY57 FR is alot anyway, sell your Cupra yourself then look for a FR on here perhaps? pick one up cheaper to!

Well I told him that there is a virtually identical car for sale at another dealers for 9,200, but he was nearer.
Perhaps he thinks he can get that for it

Si-mate, I have a 56 plate FR, got cruise fitted for £170, so it is possible and its not expensive. I think standard its about £250. I had cruise fitted by http://www.vwcruise.com/index.html. They had no issues fitting it, only took about an hour and a half using all VAG equipment.

Go for the Fr, you'll be disappointed with 100bhp. Fr also upgradable to 175bhp with just a remap if you fancy.

i bought my car from ******* in 2007 and they were excellent and very helpful.
Can't remember the company but i was quoted about £400 for an after market cruise control fitted to mu ibiza cupra but did not get it done. good luck should be able to get a bargain now. p.s. my wife has a mazda 6 tdi and I prefer that to my car.

As Andy has said, dont let cruise be the issues, its a easy install, and infact id use the fact the FR hasnt got it, to try and get more money off it!

Mine has the stalk now, but it's taken 8 months to find out why neither Awesome or PSI could install it

Another couple o' hundred to spend to make it work!!
