312mm are good enough, i'm sure you can get them to fit, pop into a tuning specialist and ask them?

Scott, where did you get the engine cover from? Was it from a cupra TDI? looks spot on

Yeh it came off a cupra tdi, randomly spotted it in the for sale section :)

I could with a 10mm spacer but its not really gonna happen without me flaring the arches, not on for permanently modding the shape of the body.

Place i work at on the weekends machine and fabricate alsorts but i just cant be chewed. (see the e-type a few pages back we built :D)

Sorry to hear about the brakes bud, got them on my cupra and however amazing they look and work they are hassle when it comes to choosing a new set of wheels to fit over them, sweet ride by the way. White cars FTW

Well sold the Ap Racing calipers tonight. Got some moola and the tt calipers in return with brand new ebc redstuff pads and some proper caliper paint. Booked in for saturday for fitting with the discs pictured in the Ap Caliper pictures :)

Then after that going to get the same rear disks to match with new standard pads, cant have new looking front brakes and shoddy rears lol Then ill be getting a polybush for the spare engine mount, fit this and get it all fitted when its in for a service :D

Also car was on the rolling road last Saturday and made 163.8hp and 272 ftlb's torque. So nice and conservative. Was glad to know i wasn't tearing my clutch up!

It's a custom code map i believe, was gonna go for p-torque after id bought the car but the old owner got in touch in this thread to tell me it had already been done and to just activate it with vag-com. Can't grumble for free :D

Brakes fitted this morning. Spent all afternoon yesterday wire brushing and painting them. Very impressed with the set-up only covered about 3 miles with them, stomped on the pedal and couple of times and felt like my seatbelt was gonna snap. Mad how good they are over the standard set-up!

Yeh thats about what custom code say they make, nice conservative map and dont forget its not about the torque and hp figures, once mapped they boost up to 5k rpm instead of running out of puff at 3.5 :p so they just go and go, totally new car with it turned on!

and cheers matey, get it lowered :p

Cheers :) id recommend them like, especially if you have them laying about, they are really good!

Edit: looks like you got 312mm in your sig?!

Haha nope thats standard setup. I actually find them quite good which is why I've never found the need to fit my 312mm setup....other than for looks :)
