After 18 months of Passat ownership I'm now trying to off load it to the wife and I have an eye on a replcement............Seeing this I know what i'd like..........may take me another 6 months or so yet though.

Switching diesel back to petrol the power must be lovely but £70+ fill ups and sub 30mpg must be scary

Yup, last I heard, mine was up to 3rd on a list of 50 cars in the country waiting for them.

I can only assume that Pedro is carving them by hand, one at a time.

Fortunately, I do less than 15k miles a year.

Plus, if I get another diesel next time, it all averages out.
