Can i make a TDI FR sound good?

Hi all now i know this could be tricky but im used to having tuned up petrols with the roar that u get from them when tuned lol
now because of work i have a ibiza fr tdi?

i had a one of exhaust made and have got a air induction kitbut it doeant make half the sexy noise a petrol does ?
is this something im just going to have to live with or is the some tdi owners out there with... dare i say it ... sexy sounding cars ????

mmmmmmmmmm, tough one. Spaniels Fr TDI sounds about as good as you can make a TDI sound, but then he's put a fair wedge of cash into his car.

You'll never get rid of the tractor idle though.

Im making do, and living with it (or trying to)

The only way i can think of is a custom exhaust with NO silencers in! a Dynatwist XL filter and a dumpvalve if your after just noise,

A bigger turbo will help tho,

Milltek exhaust system will make it sound much better mine has a full system and sounds great ask any one of the lads (who im sure will post after me)

Get hold of devonutopia, his Fabia sounds most un diesel like! Apart from at idle that is. He's often about on here but better still have a look on Briskoda where there are video clips of his motor. I've been in the car and it sounds mental! Goes well too.....

nah, the rear bearing has failed by the looks of it. Took it off earlier, first time i have ever tried, took 4 hrs, nothing else is damged though i dont think, will need to flush the intercooler ut though i recon, it had a bit of oil in the pipes, more than when the last one went.

Its not running full stop, as i took half the engine apart yesterday to get the turbo off, dhl have just collected it now, so hopefully, it should have a new one either this weekend or next. But yes, i think i impressed a few people with how good my brakes are with just standard discs and pads on
