cambelt on a 98 1.4 APQ

what are these like to change. never done an ibiza yet. not long had the car, & its done 72K. not got all of the service history, but I reckon its due. cheers

There's no F in Quality..
haven't actually got round to going Em's 1.4 yet !! Oops!

however, my 2.0 8v was pretty simple to be honest. 1st attempt and it only took me 2 hours, and that was being extra cautious.

I've read up in Haynes on how to do the 1.4 and it seems fairly simple after doing the 1.4.

You've only got the cambelt, tensioner and PAS belts to change.

I was quoted £51 for the cambelt and tensioner from my local dealer.

Worth getting genuine parts I reckon, as it's not something you want to go wrong !! Costly if it does!
