Just had got quoted £419 for 50k service, full diagnostics (comp and mechanical) on an engine rattle (not the usual intercooler rattle) + cam belt, tensioners and water pump.

Liverpool Seat have been great really recommend them. Only booked today, getting done tomorrow!! Even said they’ll give a owners club discount!

oh sounds good will remember that price got the same service coming up for mine and am frightened of the price at least I know what I should aim for on quotes! Shame I don't live up north!

Local Seat dealer is actually cheaper than a VAG specialist at the moment as they have an offer on. Add to that I can get cheap oil, and also have a 10% of card with them, I am saving a fair bit! Interestingly another Seat dealership within the same company was over £250 more!!!

Had mine done last week for £320 from a local independant which I trust. Timing belt, idlers, water pump, aux belt and tentioner and coolant change. Well pleased with that.

i rang up my local dealer and he said they would do it for £290, and thats from the stealers mate and then i rang the other dealer near me he said £250, im based in the west midalnds so that cant be bad realy.... shop around see what deals they can do for you.

Check to see that they change the water pump and aux belt. They arnt standard items to be changed.
