Cam Belt/Water pump service...

Car is approaching the 60k mark so the dreaded cam belt is due to be replaced (money i could be spending elsewhere) just wondering where you guys/girls took there's?

Had a look at EMD and places like that. Location isnt really a problem with me travelling with the forces a lot so either N.Yorks area or Guildford, Portsmouth, Farnham etc.

Kings seat Portsmouth are charging me £348 for my cambelt and waterpump change on the 7th jan.
Think thats a reasonable price imo

You must be on the camp then are you? There's a couple of folk local to you.

I take my car down to Knaresborough when it needs anything major, but all the usual service stuff I do myself. My mates the service manager down there so I know it gets looked after.

Viking - Im actually a Richmond lad im based down south in Bordon not to far from Portsmouth just home for the xmas leave .

Godber - AMD charge just a little less than that iirc. If push came to shove id drop it off there and let them have a fiddle with it as well More power ha.
