Im looking at using a CAI off ebay that a few people off here are using, as i have been researching i have found that people generally use it with a jetex filter.

The question is what size jetex filter can i use (i.e. the biggest possible one that fits in the wing) I know it has a 70mm neck but im not sure what size filter?

This set up seems to the best after alot of research it seems to eliminate heatsoak, suck in more air and produce a DV noise.

thanks Jonny

i have just changed my mind on them now lol and it was a previous thread to that of you praising them that made me want one ;)

I really fancy a nice DV noise and spool noise but without the heat soak. At the moment i have a green cotton panel filter in a smoothed airbox, hardly makes any noise really. Maybe i should get a TIP next or just buckle and buy a jabbasport set up for silly money

I used to run the same setup as peachy until recently. I never had any problems with it and soudned awsome but when it was raining I didnt drive the car as I was worried about sucking up water.

now my battery is in the boot I have cut it right down so just reaches where the battery was and my massive jetex filter on the end with a prechrager. Sounds great and when doing some on the motorway you can hear it sucking like a biatch.

The jabbasport isn't worh the money imo, when you got an intercooler the air is going to be cooled down anyway.

I will try get a video and picture up laters
