Hi All,
I know there are a number of threads on leon heater matrix issues.
I have seat leon 2014 140K miles
I changed my matrix 2 months ago due to no heat in the cab for a number of months.
This has improved my heat but i have never had it working perfectly since.
Normally the passenger side (UK car) heat is working but the drivers side is cold.
I have opened the coolant tank and ran car with heating on dial 1 to try and remove air - but didnt solve my issue.
I then ran the car with coolant tank open and heating on at dial 6 - this solved my issue for 10 days or more.
But after 2 weeks or so i noticed if i changed the heater position from window to face - the heat would drop or disappear.
Then overtime if i brake sharp or big turns etc i hear a lot of swishing from the matrix.
I repeated tank open at dial 6 - but this time heat still only on passenger side and swishing noise still there.
The coolant has only dropped slightly this entire time.
One thing to note is that there isnt even heat going into the matrix - one pipe maybe 10/15 degree hotter than other.
Thanks for your time all.
