Buzzing Noise

Wonder if anyone can help .. when i switch the ignition on and no matter how far i have drive, even switching the car on/off i got the buzzing noise which i believe is the coolent pumping round the engine to cool it down .. at the moment i dont get that noise anymore :confused:, is it supposed to come on all the time the car is switched off? or only when ive been driving hard? ive noticed this happening since ive had my dynatwist fitted ..

It might be that your fuse has blown which is a common fault. Does your ac not work either. Go out (take a 30 amp fuse with you) and have a look now at the fuses on the top of the battery. look at the furthest one on the right and replace it. Turn the ignition on and then see if the fan comes on

is it bad for the car though if i dont sort it out right away if this is the case?

very bad cause the fans arent working to cool your engine and it will over heat my advice is dont drive it till its sorted

hi mate .. basically i didnt take the fuse out but took it to my local garage (seat) and they said its working fine .. anyway i moved it about and pushed it into placeand twice today its working! the buzz noise is there and the fan came on .. maybe a loose connection??

these fuses are known to overheat and melt i'm currently on my forth in 10 months. I always carry a set of fuses with me now;)
