Hello everyone,
I acquired back in July a Seat Ibiza 6F 1.0 TSI 95.
I recently noticed that when I enable the rear windows defogger, it also lights up a bunch a button backlight such as door windows controls, headlight controls on the left, usb ports, as well as the central console (with start&stop button, radar on/off, lock).
On the other hand, the climate control, dashboard and wheel correctly light on or off depending on the current outside sunlight condition / and or depending on headlight wheel position.
Does anyone have a clue on why that toggle has such a behavior ? I assume those backlight should enable by themselves based on the same condition as the wheel or dashboard, but unfortunately, aside from enabling the rear windows defogger, they always stay off. I also did not find any toggle in the system settings to tinker with.
I don't understand how the rear windows defogger could be somehow linked to interior backlights.
Any help is appreciated ! Thanks !
