Yes, looks makes the waiting even more painful!! Especially waiting for the same colour too! Desire red is looking

Out of curiosity, what brand of tyres has yours come with? Assuming Bridgestone?

Seems either Bridgestone or Michelin from what I've seen so far. Used both extensively on other cars and SUV's, would be happy with either but generally always found better mileage from Michelin's i.e. they last longer, not necessarily most mpg economy.

Not sure if other brands are also present on UK mk4 Leon's

Think I've also seen nexen, which is what my Skoda came with, would prefer to have some Michelins, not had a car with them, either bridgstones or Ive brought goodyear or dunlops. I mean let's be honest who cares, we just want our Leon's!!

Hi folks.

just to update you for those of you waiting on your new cars. I’ve had this update today from my dealer:

“I have just had the latest production update and Leon is showing early next year now,

I honestly wouldn’t be surprised if your car didn’t turn up until next year, But as I said I will keep you updated”

Ordered the new car in August 2021 was due in March this year. Then went to August now has possibly slipped to 2023.

Model ordered: 1.4 FR e-Hybrid Red

Haha same as you had that from mine today too!! Think I'm going to keep an eye on stock deals (Ordered for a lease) you didn't happen to order from Crewe did you?

My dealer still saying build week 10 for mine so just keeping everything crossed. If it’s put back to next year I’ll have to have a rethink!

Asked my lease company about this and got the following:

“That information is correct, but it’s for future orders from this point onwards. It’s not the lead time for orders that are already ongoing. It’s dealers mis-reading or mis-understanding the information sadly.

Unfortunately I’ve no update on yours though”

So no good news, but no bad news either.

I’d like to replace my 2017 Leon FR with a new Leon FR sport but I like the adaptive cruise control option which would mean a factory order and I don’t think I have the patience to wait a year for it!

Build week of late March has been cancelled…. Again :(

Grumpy & wish there was more clarity from Seat and less messing around

It's a joke.
In fact we have cancelled my order and replaced it with a full electric Korean car which I'll have first week of March.
Was really looking forward to the Leon, but waiting for a year or more just not feasible any longer.
Good news for those waiting is that you'll 'all' shuffle up one place in the queue...
The lack of clear, concise information from all sources led to this decision. It's affected many other VAG vehicles we've had on order...

Should’ve had mine in December and yesterday had to take the Arona (that I’m still driving around in through no fault of my own) in for new ignition coils and spark plugs after the EPC warning light came on.

Have contacted the dealer to say I’m not happy having to fork out for that when the bloody thing should’ve been theirs 3 months ago. No joy from them but they’ve suggested contacting Seat Customer Services… I expect that’ll be pointless too, so bloody frustrating.
