Happy New Year folks! I'm now 22 weeks on having ordered the new car in August. Spoke to my dealer last week apparently status is still showing: "00 order accepted".

Anyone else had any good/bad news on their order?

Nope pretty much exactly the same as you unfortunately, ordered beginning of August, was originally due Feb/March expect it to be nearer the end of April now!

Annoying as I emailed the dealer towards end of June, (current lease is up feb/March) he said I didn't need to order then and to come back in August (not his fault) but wish I'd ordered then, maybe I would be closer to having my car, not that I'm that impatient of course!

Happy new year to you too, and to everyone else! Well no, I've not heard anything from dealer since before Christmas, again latest news is "Accepted by the factory".

End of August order here. I'm a Motability lease, got my RSA extension on the insurance of my current Gollf to end of April.... So I reckon May at the earliest! I reckon we should get a free upgrade to Cupra spec on the hybrid (effectively a software patch for the electric motor ECU) as compensation :ROFLMAO:

Happy New Year all too.

Your post nudged me to check status with my dealer of the Leon FR 1.4 ehybrid estate in Desire Red + pan roof ordered with said dealer beginning of August.

No news except the provisional delivery date of 29th April could be earlier or later..
Once built the cars go to port and apparently as production is down (due to the known parts/chips delays) the port take longer to fill up for a ship to be boarded as less vehicles being produced, so not economical to send part filled ships.., so built cars might wait a number of weeks at the port before there's enough cars to justify a ship to embark them & leave fully laden for UK or wherever 🤔

Kind of tallies with what I thought, well there won't be less, as all these cars ordered in August will be on a ship together!! All those Desire red estates!! Should create some sort of register, car, order date, received date etc!

Lol yes 👍

Although I originally ordered Mystery blue but became NA so went with my 'only by a whisker' second colour choice of Desire Red!
Still only seen one Leon in DR on the road, looked beaut, a hatchback, although seen a few in MB.
Glad I was forced to change in the end 😆

Still trying to get a rear camera price for my ST from the stealer, no joy yet, but will need a dealer fit price for my company and/or the leasing company.

Had one for well over 10 years, seems a short change not to fit or at least offer factory fit option on a 35k car! The ehybrid FR ST in Ireland gets rear camera as standard I'm told.
Everything from Korea & Japan getting them too..

I reverse into my garage which kind of negates the accuracy of parking sensors spotting how close to kids bikes, mower etc..., camera lets me get within an inch or less.

Funny you should say that, I originally went with the new blue, then saw it on an Ibiza at a motorshow, thought it looked crap, dull (previously had Mystery Blue) so changed to my second choice DR!

So just to update you on the latest lead times. My SEAT dealer has emailed me. The vehicle had updated with a build week (unknown week date, they didn't specify) to having gone back to order accepted. He anticipated it would likely arrive in August. Any new Leons now ordered in Jan 22 you will likely see in Nov if not early 2023.

Looks like I might be getting mine soon. Just got all the finance docs through to sign and the lease company confirmed the registration plate etc. Ordered at the end of May and was meant to be here for Oct/Nov. Likely first week in Feb it will actually be in my driveway 🥳

Well my Outlander PHEV is going to be in my service for quite a lot longer than anticipated it seems, although happy to confirm the 4 hour nightly Octopus GO rate of 5p per Kwh is fully charging it every night from the 13A socket plugged in granny cable, so happy days!

Petrol is soooooo expensive by comparison

I digress sorry 🤪

If anyone wants to know more re GO you can PM me

Emailed my sales person, he contacted seat support and they said they're unable to give a date (don't know if that's they don't know or won't) then he said won't be surprised if it was September for delivery - Seat Leon ST FR ordered in August.
