Thanks for the comments, there the most comfortable seats i've ever sat in and sooooooo suportive round the bends

I ordered them from recaro but had to wait ages for them to be stitched in red, worth the wait tho

I dont know if they still do them mate but makro at hillington, next to Glasgow Audi..

They were selling 2 bucket seats in 1/2 leather, reclinable ones for £100.
I know of plenty of folk who have these, amazing that they can still make a profit on a seat valued at £50 each.

Like i say, i dont know if they had them on offer/still around, worth a bash though.

Then all u need is subframes id imagine.

Ive saw a few places on the internet where you can get a pair of bucket seat for 150 quid. Would only have to get subframes. Only thing is wouldnt those seats look huge in the ibiza??

Think I will just put up with the seats that I have. They aint really that bad.

Might just try and get an interior out another 1.4, one that has headrests on the rear bench. Or even something out a mk3.

Just wait for a GTI interior. Those macro buckets are rubbish, my mate has them in his 206 and they do look and feel cheap. Either go full whack and get some nice ones like Roly's, or just wait a bit, search around and get some GTI ones from a different VAG car. Polo and golf GTI front seats fit the Ibiza, and the rear bench only needs little modification.

I think that sounds like a good idea. Do you know if the mk5 polo gti seats would fit?? Im guessing they wont but they do look quite nice??

Little modification?? Which would be?

Usually you just need to modify the middle catch of the rear seats or cut the bottom catches a little. All I had to do to fit a mk2 Ibiza rear seats in the back of my mk4 polo was to cut off two brackets. Took 20 seconds with an angle grinder. And thats probably only because they were split rear seats/bench I was trying to fit, to a polo that originally didn't have split rear seats. And the front seats slot straight in, no mods needed. not sure about the mk5 tho?
