Bucket Seats.

How easy is it to fit a set of bucket seats in a mk2 ibiza and what is the fit like??

Im just wondering as im considering getting a cheapish set,anything better than the current seats.

Depending on what people say I might just try and get a gti/1.4 sport interior if it will be cheaper.

the gti interior is actually quite good , and im sure you could get one relatively cheap .

I sold my half leathers for 200 ish about 6 months ago just as an idea for price...
But then i picked up some polo seats from a scrappers for 35 ish.

Buckets are easy as to fit though if you wanted to go down that route... dont buy universal subframes though... theyre useless

I bought my half leather cupra ones for £150, other than that you could pick up some GTi ones for about £70- £80.

Yeah I wanted to do the same thing, just never found a set close enough to collect.
Think I was bidding on MarkJ's on ebay, but forgot about them and missed out.

I'd want matching door cards too

once i pick up my new interior u can buy my GTi interior if you like mate.

concours example, no wear to any seat.

i only hoovered them mate, never used any products.

I bought those tiger stripes from the dubshack seller on ebay just there.

Pedal box repaired this week, collect them next week!
So my cloth interior might aswell get sold.

I sold a Mk3 Cupra half leather interior for £260 without doorcards, a Mk2 GTi 16v without doorcards for £100 and a Mk2 GTi 8v interior for £130.
I was quite lucky and got good prices for all of mine, check ebay though, usually the best place.

I bought those tiger stripes from the dubshack seller on ebay just there.

Yep i would be quite interested, but i may have to wait a few weeks until i get some funds together, what will xmas and car insurance renewal within the space of a month.

It will be fun trying to get everything into the car if i get the interior.

I would be quite interested in prices etc as well cos im considering going down the converstion stage sometime.

I paid £1350 for a written off Mk3 Cupra, then sold most of the bits on and made my money back.

See thats what my idea was, to buy a written off one but theres no gaurantee the engine will run though?.
