Broken Heater Fan?

Hi again everyone, First post in a long time.

My heater/blower fan has recently started sounding like a spitfire running sawdust and theres a bit of a rattling noise from behind the dashboard somewhere.

Belive it or not it started the day after I had my timing belt and water pump done so I cant think how any of that would effect it but you never know.

It seems to do it on all modes be it blowing on the windscreen or the floor.

I've got my car booked in to the stealers to have it checked under warranty on thursday but I use my car alot and cant really be botherd waiting so I might have a look tomorrow. I think a bit debris may have got in to the system so I'll have a check around the pollen filter area to see if there is anything there that should not be.

Has any one else had the same problem? If so how was it rectified?

I had a leaf stuck in my heater fan on my mk3 Golf..could be the same thing?

The noise has actually disapeered now so it must have been something like that.

I'll remove the pollen filter and check on weds to make sure.

Its guaranteed to go balls up in 5k when my warranty runs out
