Broke Down Help????

my beza just broke down, givin it some beans down the a17 and all felt a judder in boost then lost all power, car does start revs are all over the place, but just konks out, rev the engine and a throaty nosie from the back of the engine thats what it sounds like its cumin from, backfirin lots no engine light on or anythin recovery man said my cat was fu**ed but i think it is a gasket gone some where any help would be appreciated asap how much to fix if you now what it is?????

Think you need to get VAGCOM on the case and look at running logs etc to see where the problem is. Is the car only running 5psi of boost now then i.e limp mode?

i dont now about the psi the turbo is spoolin up as normal i think but the car konks out before i get chance to do anythin do you have vagcom mate where in lincoln?or know anyone in the area with vagcom

right went out for a quick fiddle before it got toed away to the garage and i unpluged the maf and turned over the engine and it started and idled like normal and did not konk out gave it a few revs and it sounds alot more throaty through my cda induction kit took it for a slow spin and there is no boost at all does not go past 0 bar on the gauge and just makes alot of noise and no power any suggestion now!!!!!!!! whats up with it????

have you blown a pipe off some where between the turbo to intercooler. Or intercooler to inlet manifold

no because ive blown pipes of before and my car does not run at all and just stalls if a boost pipe is off as i say i broke down on the a17 car would start but just stalled so thats when i thought it was a boost pipe checked them over and things seem ok but when reved it was rearly thoaty through my cda more and usual and no boost, then unpluged the maf and it runs now at idle and does not stall but has the throaty noise through the cda and still no boost just a whole lot of noise through when my foot goes down also alot of cat smell aswell help please!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have looked at this thread i think the maf is totally biffed cos my car does not run when it is connected revs are everywhere rthen stalls but i cant understand why i have no boost and a whole lot of noise, dont get me wrong it sound ausome lol but it is not right cos there is no power what so ever could my turbo be fu*ked cos i have been going into limp mode o think quite alot recently but the boost gauge does flick to 0 bar when under load????

got it towed to corten miller near boston now, where you in lincoln for future reference i live in coningsby you know where that is?\ i have the vag com adb 2cable but can not get it to work with my laptop maybe you can help with that too lol

no i dont think its coilpacks cos ive had seven go in my car since ive had it revoed so i know what it feels like and sounds like when they go i think this is more serious hence why ive put it in the garage!
