Brembo Caliper Refurbishing

Ive read a few threads here but would like to know how do you actually refurb the calipers itself? Bearing in mind the "Brembo" logo on the caliper itself is actually etched on isnt it? or is it just a sticker? I am going to do this tomorrow after going to hellfrauds to get some caliper paint/laquer set.

I was going to rub the effected area with 1500 grit and just simply paint over and hopefully get a colour match. If not im guessing il just redo the whole lot but what about the famous brembo logo?

Yup discussed to death! Its just a sticker, but you shouldn't have to talke them down that far!

I attempted to refurbish my caliper today which looks good the only down fall is it must have been refurbhished quite a few times as 1500 grit wet n dry took the paint down to the metal and began sanding away the brembo logo. Im guessing id have to buy some new stickers from somewhere and re-spray the whole caliper.

does anyone know when refurbishing the whole caliper do you do the following

1. Rub everything down so all you have is metal
2. Apply a primer coat.
3. Apply the paint
4. Apply the Brembo sticker
5. and to finish it all off add a few layers of laquer?
