Exactly ... even though privateers can and do run in BTCC, they need to, and the drivers need to bring *A LOT* of money to the table through sponsorship etc.
Just finished counting and the final total is £222.42 to be shared equally between 'Help For Heroes' and the R.N.L.I. A big thank you must go to all of the Barmy Army for the catering and to Olaf for the sale of air horn's.
Have to say this was one of the best SCN represented rounds of BTCC I've attended in the last 3 years! (just a shame it will be the last supporting SEAT Sport UK).
Thanks to every one for your support today.
With the RNLI money could i recommend you have a look around and find a station or appeal that you approve of rather than just giving it to the central pot as this money is usually spent on staff wages etc
We could always have a Friday Euro Millions SCN Syndicate. Guaranteed 100million, should be enough for a season or two.

Can you imagine the logistics of collecting the money from people etc. and keeping track of who's paid, who hasn't etc ... nightmare!
I was not suggesting we did it...i was merely asking
We are home ... about 20 foot away from each other at the moment
And how many do you have???
