I’m looking to get 4 new tyres for my 2019 Seat Leon ST, plus a 4 wheel alignment in the hope it will cure the ‘feathering’ and associated droning noise from the rear.
When browsing for tyres online I’ve noticed that you seem to be able to by tyres specified for a vehicle brand. For example, I’m looking at Goodyear Eagle F1 Assy 6… but there are three different options and different prices. One says ‘suited for Audi’ another ‘suited for VW’ and another ‘electric vehicle approved’. Does it matter? Are they different?
I want something decent but not a fortune - just a general commuter bus so not going mad. Suggestions welcomed.
Also, I’m struggling to find a Hunter alignment centre near me in Swansea. Would your ‘normal’ alignment be that much different?
