Ok so I Fitted new Ferodo DS2500 Pads to my brembos and Fitted a 256mm Rear Brake Setup with new pads

Me and my Mate who is a Renault Mechanic Done it then changed the brake Fluid to Motul RBF 660 (place I ordered from sent me 660 instead of 600) bled all the brakes from the furthest point from the master cylinder then in order round

Got a solid pedal with the car turned off, screwed the resovoir top on started the engine, pedals goes soft and spongey

Is this due to new pads all round needing bedded in? or does something happen when you start the engine that could then effect the pedal?? air in the servo or something??

Any advice welcome guys

P.S. I read Badger Bills advice on bedding in Ferodos and attempted this but pedal feels no different
