ta for the replies, I just thought there'd be one on either side :confused:

Previous cars I've had have had them on both sides. I guess the thinking is that both should wear at the same rate. Which they will as long as you keep your calipers maintained correctly.

Mine only had a sensor on the near side.
If in the future you buy pads without the sensor's in them get yourself a female spade conneter and plug that into the wireing loom from the the car, this will join the wire's and turn off the light ;)

Just wanted to check that if I buy replacement pads for the rear does only one set need to have a sensor and the other without?
