Just bought some new brake pads and theres only 1 sensor on one of the pads, is this correct or should there be a sensor on each side of the car? I'm not doing them while tommorrow so I've not checked yet.
Previous cars I've had have had them on both sides. I guess the thinking is that both should wear at the same rate. Which they will as long as you keep your calipers maintained correctly.
Mine only had a sensor on the near side.
If in the future you buy pads without the sensor's in them get yourself a female spade conneter and plug that into the wireing loom from the the car, this will join the wire's and turn off the light
