Brake judder?

Hi everyone

Just wanted to know if anyone has experienced the same...? Under braking from about 120mph to 100mph, a brake judder or wheel bearing type noise occurs. But with no vibration through the car, nothing through the pedal or steering wheel. So essentially just the noise with no physical change. Car is still solidly planted and slowing.

This will happen hard or light braking... anywhere below 80mph, there is no noise at all... very odd

Not going to book it in as a dealer will not be able to replicate, was just wondering if it was a characteristic of the car, having said that my 280 didn't do it.

If anyone was wondering.. it was obviously not on the public roads

Are the discs OK? Not scored?

Discs are fine on the outside face, pads hardly worn... only has 8k miles on the clock.

May get it in the workshop and get it on a ramp to check the discs properly I reckon.

It sounds benign, but I'd deglaze the pads with some sandpaper to see if it goes away.

Checked the discs today.. there fine, gonna leave it for a bit and see how it goes.

Not going to be able to claim anything under warranty atm, and plus, its only a noise with no affect so far..... time will tell

The only difference to the 280 is pirelli tyres, not that its down to them. But looking forward to michelin tyres again !
