I was gonna fit braided hoses to my LCR when i did my front calipers, but was told that the LCR front hoses are internally braided anyway.

Dont know about the rears.

i was gonna get some goodridge braided hoses.. ordered my new discs, fluid and ds2500 pads off bill.. said i was going to get the hoses, and did he sell them.. he said he did but as the cupra r has internal braiding it wouldnt of really made that much differnce.

but then again, i did say i was trying to save money, and i wasnt using my car on a track at the moment.

i suppose when it coms to brakes.. every little helps and if you can reduce the squishy feeling even a tad. its worth it.

ive just done the pads and discs on my lcr and to be honest.. im not going to bother changing the hoses... as the brakes feel spot on.

but lioke i said.. im not tracking it at the moment, so not really building the temperature up to a point where its going to be noticible.

the only benefit as I can see it is the OE ones, although internal reinforced will be more likely when hot (radiated heat off brakes) to soften and bulge slightly as a consequence. This would be under very heavcy use tho to get them that hot. (track use for example, where I have myself melted CV gaiters from radiated heat from brakes... melted tyre valve caps onto valves too)
EXTREME use.. lol
