easyest way i found was to take the plastic off the inside of the boot to open it and make sure you lubricate the lock mechanism before putting it back on as there always sticking

as above, should be able to remove the trim from the inside of the car and open the mechanism from there

Got the same problem.

Tried to use the key to method but had no luck, so I got into the boot via the back seats and can't see how I can take the plastics off?

I took the 2 screws out from the rear light panel and the one in the boot handle but not getting much luck? ... starting to wonder if it can be done? (maybe it'd due to restricted space I'm finding it a little difficult to locate everything?)

Thanks

you can open the boot by getting a screwdriver from inside and lever the catch that holds the boot down be carefull not to scratch the plastic though you will see what i mean there is a catch that holds the boot down on the boot lock, this what i do to open mine then once open the plastic back is easy to get off three screws then pull off, then there is a black plastic ball joint end that is screwed on this slips an the treads and needs securing i put some rapid alraldite on mine and it works a treat!!!!
