Looking for some help,
I've had my 2016 3dr Ibiza fr for about 5yrs now and in the last year or so a few problems have come about.
The latest being the boot will not open at all. Firstly I got told by my local garage there was a problem with the latch so I got it replaced and it worked for a few weeks but again stopped working. I went back to the garage and was told it could be a problem with my BCM so went to an auto-electrics who gave me two options.
1. Replace the BCM (£500+)
2. Trip the circuit so when my ignition is on the boot will open (£200)
At the time I didn't really have the money to replace the BCM so went for option 2. This worked for about 10months but now again the boot will not open.
I'm stuck on what to do about this and wondered if it could be anything else other than the BCM before I go for that option ?
