Boosting issues!

Ok so my original problem was that the car would over boost and occasionally get a splutter.

Now it peeks boost normally but slowly drops down in pressure and still occasionally get a splutter which in turn cuts out all boost etc.

Ive check all of the hoses and had the DV off, the spark plugs have just been changed so im not sure if this could be the problem, but im not sure how this would effect the drop in boost.

The engine management light did flash on and off on one occasion, but i cannot source vagcom!

any one have any ideas?

Please!!! From what ive read it could be the N75, MAF, Lambada(my exhuast has been blowing for a long time!) or seals on the DV

ok so had it pluggd into a friends RAC laptop today.

Took the car for a spin, through 2nd the car would hit peek boost and then slowly drop, then in third the same would happen but got what sounded like a single cylinder miss fire.

But the laptop read no faults! Would a spark plug beaking down cause a drop in boost?

I have no access to vagcom so its going into a snapon laptop now!!

any ideas?

AA/RAC tools are pap. you're lucky it connected

however, sounds like a spark issue

check plugs (and renew) - and look at changing the coilpacks
