Have you cleared these codes then taken it for another drive? They could be years old and nothing to do with it.

I'd clear them, take it for a good drive then read it again.

thanks for that adam,

iv bypassed the n249 so i dont think this could be causing the problem?

is there a way i could clean the tb without doing an alignment as i dont have vag com to do it?

cheers.

I guess you could remove the hose and spray some cleaner into it and give it quick clean whilst still on the car?

Could try using the N249 again to see if it helps?

Its not the DV failing as it gets hot is it? [could that actually happen??] you could try the standard one again?

iv just removed my turbosmart dv and done the pen test and as soon as i remove the pen it just drops back down,so does this mean its kaput?

even though it still makes a noise when its on the car?

cheers guys.jamie.

right been out in the car today with my mate we drove around 60 miles and for the first 20-30 miles all was fine great boost e.t.c,

then for the rest of the journey it went again i think its in limp mode.

i scanned it again and got the same codes so cleared them and they come straight back.

iv checked all the pipes i can get to and the dv and they all seem ok,im going to put it on a ramp on saturday,so is there any certain bits to check,as im gettin really p****d off with it now as you never no when you get in it if its going to work or not:censored:

cheers lads.
