I haven't come accross any A-pillar pods personally. I think maybe thats because the A-pillars in the Mk2 Leon are fabric so would look a bit pants. Alternatively you could mount a gauge in your drivers side heater vent as shown HERE

Another option is the Liquid gauge which is due to be released for the petrol Mk2 Leon later this year which has many handy options built in. I think Awesome Gti and Badger 5 can supply these. Check HERE for details.

What about this, will it fit to Leon?

New South Performance Audi A3 ColumnPod

Mounting on top of the steering column, the Audi A3 ColumnPod™ is designed to hold a 2” or 2 1/16” (52mm) gauge in your 2005+ Audi A3.

The unique design offsets the gauge to the left for maximum visibility of the dash instrumentation and electronic information center.

Molded from ABS and matched in color and gloss, the ColumnPod™ looks like an OEM installation. It holds the gauge at an angle that minimizes distractions and helps keep your eyes on the road.

Our exclusive design hides all wires and tubes from view.

Sorry but I cant add url because I have not yet posted 15 times :( find it from google.

thanks guys... Great links.

Anyone here had the Revo stage 1?

Worth having done?

Hell yeah!

You'll think the standard cupra was slow in comparison... and you'll be right :p

With regards to your inital question: If you're set on having it A-Pillar mount then any of the aftermarket A-Pillar gaude pod mounts will do. Pretty much all come a large size which you then cut to shape. Obvioulsy these are plastic and or have a naff 'carbon' print. You'd be best getting some black cloth that matches the rest of the pillar. I'm not sure if you can buy this from your dealers (roof lining material) I imagine there will be a part number for something. If not there must be headlining/roof lining black cloth available online or from a breakers if you see any cupras being scrapped or broken.

If the above mission is unsuccesful then as before mentioned go for the vent mount or steering column mount. There's also the plug and play units that can display a number of readings. (windscreen mount)

OR get a double din headunit which can display boost pressures and other parameters.

Where can one get steering column mount for Leon 1P?

I believe a few people have modified the one for the Audi/ Golf. Also you can go for the cruder approach and either self tap/glue/velcro a gauge pod on.

Too be different:

Another idea that you can do is get a single din head unit with fasica and cut out holes to fit gauges in. There should be room for one even if you fit a double din.

for example http://images.google.co.uk/images?s...07GB308&q=gauge pod&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi

2nd row of images 3rd on in.

Here is the MK2 prototype, it works on the diesel version today and I need to get it up on the web site, a couple have sold by word of mouth to Spain.

The petrol version software (uses CAN bus rather than the older K-Line for MK1 and Diesels) is now finished but we are waithing for the production boards to come in sometime in Feb probably.
