Bonnet Bra Long Journey Protection

Hi All, Was wondering if i could have all your opinions on ways to protect your car including driving styles on long journeys, I have to fly up to aberdeen next week and drive my new cupra back home to portsmouth, its a long way! but the car is a minter!
Was thinking of getting a bonnet bra to protect against stone chips on the long journey back do you guys think its worth is?

All opinions welcome!

they look cool and they serve a good purpose, be careful to take them off and clean under regularly as I have seen them ruin paint work where they sealed in damp. can be found new for £50-£70. Also you can get that clear film that is custom cut for your cars curves. Its noticable but barely (and even less noticable on a platinum i recon). Other than that go easy on the naughty pedal and keep your distance from cars in front or cars changing lanes (as most grit is in the centre between two lanes). should come to soVAG in southampton on monday if your about, quite a few SCN'ers going along

They look poop on MK1 leons though. But a good idea for long distance protection. Have you thought about that clear film stuff they put on new cars? you can have that fitted....
