Guys, i've got a bodywork related question, i've got a spare front bumper which i'm going to cut the bar out, and smooth it, so theres a nice gap for the FMIC.

Just wondering if anyone can suggest the best way of filling the gaps that will be left after i cut the centre section out.

Bodywork is the one thing that i've never really go into with cars.

IIRC Someone was plastic welding the holes, but im not sure what would be the best way.

Any help is greatly appreciated, cheers

I would probably say some mesh and then fibre glass if your doing it DIY. Either that or take it to a bodyshop. You may find some of them will plastic weld a new piece of plastic into the gap then filler and smooth it.

Oh and just to keep the theme of the thread going...do you wanna sell your old bumper?!!!!! ;)
