I need to get a bluetooth carkit to go in the Leon but am struggling to decide which one.

I've had a Parrot Ck3100 in the past, worked well but didn't have voice number dialling and it interupted radio each time a message came through (very annoying)

Maybe I've been spoilt but I had the bluetooth pack in my Mk2 Leon FR and have got used to the voice activated number dialling and ease of use.

What kits did people have installed and what do people recommend?

I will install it myself, and it necessary will purchase an adapter to allow the kit to mute radio and use car speakers.

Its the phone you have making it interupt the radio each time you get a text. I had a Nokia and when I got texts the Parrot interuted the radio. I now have a Samsung and it doesnt!!!

To be honest Becker units look OEM and I doubt anyone would notice you had swapped the stereos over. Plus Beckers look the sex and offer great sound quality, has the option to add an I-Pod etc.

How about this for a perfect colour match ?

Had this a while now, it's class. Phone left in pocket, it connects when you get in the car, face off too to put off thieves.

Auto mutes when a call comes in & uses the car stereo speakers for calls, mike can be located anywhere, I put mine up the A pillar.....

I recently installed a Parrot 3200 LS-Colour, and am really impressed with it. I haven't had any problems so far (touch wood), and the voice dialing works well too :) I've set it up so whenever i am driving along, if I turn the stereo down a little first, then say clearly "Phone" this automatically gets picked up by the parrot, which then "beeps", and then i just say the name of the person i want to call e.g. "home", and off it goes ringing my house. Occasionally it doesn't pick up me saying "phone" but this only seems to be when it has only just been turned on.

It only interrupts the stereo when a call is made, and i have a Sony Ericcson K800i. I also like the added feature of the pictures on the screen so you can see who is calling you at a glance. Plus if your sad like me, you can change the background so it has a SEAT logo

It seems to work much better than my old Pioneer bluetooth stereo, which used to give terrible echoing to the person i was speaking to, whereas the Parrot seems to give zero interference to me as a listener, and whoever i am talking to seems to be able to hear me really clearly.

All in all if your happy spending around a £100 for one of these, i'd recommend this one, deffo at least 4/5 stars! I got mine for £119 from halfords (online reserve and collect..£149 in store) as i've had enough of products going wrong and thens sending them off, i'd now rather pay £20 more and be able to take it back to the store for a replacement etc.

If i remember rightly, ebay have them for roughly £85 with £5 p&p.
