Apologies from dragging up a thread from the dead (thought it would be better than starting a new one)

I'm debating spending extra for the Milltek at the moment, is there any major difference noise wise between the Milltek and BF?

I cannot stand loud or overly drony exhaust, I used to have a Supersprint system on my Polo and that was really classy and not intrusive!

The other option is BF turbo, cat and mid and S/S backbox... Really confused as you can tell!

to my knowledge neither are overly loud. i have a turbo back milltek system and it does the job, it sounds good, it pops and bangs occasionally, not droning but if you boot it you got a tone. idle note is louder than standard, especially when the secondary pump has kicked in.

while driving around casually people have commented that it sounds standard'ish'. but revved properly it sounds sporty

When you fitted the downpipe and cat did you notice an increase in sound ?

i have a scorpion cat back system at the minute and i am thinking about getting a full blueflame turbo back system after christmas but i want an exhaust thats quieter when driving my car normal than my current scorpion system, has anyone gone from a scorpion to blueflame ?

What one you got the STW or Tuner mate.

Mine is a tuner, but I only know this through research as I got it with my car when I bought it, have been looking to couple it with either a blueflame or a miltek since.

I found a scorpion cat back with the stw on ebay thats still the 2.5" though even if it is the diagram for the single pipe instead of the twin (which i think is the only diff?).
