Hey all! Apologies in advance if this has been answered before but I couldn't find it anywhere via searching.
So was my birthday today. Had to work, so on the way back home I decided to listen to my favourite tracks. Now I always play music on my car stereo system (JVC KD-X230) at around the 16 to 24 volume mark and have been for over a year and a half. Nothing crazy, quite loud but not enough to vibrate the car.
Was feeling pretty special so I had my music on volume level 22 but also with bass boost from the equaliser settings - Nice. Maybe I was feeling a little too special because next thing I know my speakers quit and my entire stereo system is dead.
So I'm not really sure what happened?? My stereo system wont turn on at all anymore, it's literally dead. And because of this I can't figure out if its one of my speakers that has died/killed the circuit or if this is more likely to be a stereo system which has f*cked itself? Worth mentioning that it cut at a particularly bassy part of the track, so I believe it's the music that killed it and not some coincidence.
If anyone has any ideas or thoughts or advice, please give me a shout. I'm relying on someone here otherwise it will cost me alot to diagnose the problem, I'm not much of a technician
Cheers.
