Hi,

Going to upgrade to either a bb storm or bold, anyone on here using either successfully with the bluetooth on their leon?

I have an older one just know and it works like a dream but its 'dying'.

If anyone has any recommendations give me a shout!!

Cheers,

I got the BB Bold 9000 a couple of weeks ago. It works perfectly.

I previously had the 8310. With that one, the bluetooth of my Cupra only downloaded the phonebook properly. The information in the other 3 menus (last calls, accepted calls and missed calls) was entirely random. With the Bold 9000 everything is just fine. All calls made, received and missed while the phone is not connected to the car, are shown correctly once they connect.

As a Blackberry support tech, I can recommend the Bold, the Storm however, should be avoided, not the best device they've made....

Storm worked instantly with the bluetooth in my K1.. Phonebook works perfectly fine as does previous calls etc :)

The Storm connected quickly to Laptop :)

But i get frustrated when the bluetooth works backwards. i.e. You have to go into the Media, highlight say pictures, then menu button and receive via bluetooth. Whereas any other phone just picks up another one straight away sends to it and you just say yes or no to receiving it?

I had an older Blackberry (which connected but would only allow the phonebook function) and changed to a Bold that gives all functions. The only problem is that it keeps disconnecting from the Bluetooth system if it has not been used for 10-15 minutes then connects again 30 seconds later! On a long journey this is very annoying.
