I have just been issued with a new Blackberry 9000 and although it connects to my Bluetooth system (06 TDI Sport) it disconnects after around 10 mins if not used then reconnects a minute or so later, then the whole cycle repeats.

Anyone else had this problem with the SEAT Bluetooth system (my old Blackberry worked fine)

I have the same problem. Bluetooth connection seems to drop and reconnect at will, never any real pattern to it. Had this with a Blackberry 9000 and now with my Blackberry Bold.

Thing is I think it must be a problem with Blackberry not the cars system because my Bluetooth system is in my Pioneer head unit and I never had this problem with a Nokia.

I had a similar problem with a HTC in my Toledo, you could check that you car has the latest version of the bluetooth code for the Seat one. Also check that you Phone is not going into powersave mode. i.e bluetooth is always on and transmitting. I think it's a compatability issue between the bluetooth version on the car and the one on the phone, different handshaking protocols or something??? Bluetooth tech not a strong point of mike.
