Personally I really like AF Tripple as a polish, contains wax also so offer decent protection for a few weeks, wax is depedant on budget as there are loads of options.

A few to look at for me would be, Auto Finesse Temptation (which i use currently), Bouncers 22, Bilt-Hamber Finis and Dodo Super Natural Hybrid.

The majority of how a car looks is in the prep work, wax seals it really apart from it ifs very high end then usually adds some gloss.

Maguirs is ok but I find its popular because everyone sells it, if you lived near me i would come have a look and see what state your paint it is, as the polish is depedant on how well the paint work has been looked after.

If you need some help let me know.

Sealants will give a cold solid look, whilst waxes will give a slightly warmer shine on silver cars. Sealants should last longer than a wax (other than the likes of Colli 476/845) but a lot of that comes down to the prep work before application.
