Personally I'd sell the car and get something designed for more power..evo fq360 etc! Buch runs over 400bhp in his LCR, may be worth dropping him a PM when you have enough posts to do so. Can't remember his username but a quick search for "buch and backdraft" should find him!

Another option you could consider, with your stage 2 get methanol injection - this requires a fair amount of time and knowledge to set up; but the result of the increased octane from the methanol will allow you to retard the timing by around 10 degrees with approx. 3bhp per degree on a good setup..yielding 300bhp. The water injected with the methanol will also cool the burn, giving cooler exhaust and cylinder temperatures, and cleaner combustion chambers. Have a read of DPJ's readers ride for more information on this.

Haha funny you should say that mate, been looking at the evo 8 fq360 n 400...pick up a good one for about £15000 for the 360, id love one but isnt it meant to be serviced every 3000 miles? another problem is insurance for me as im only 21, and because im in the forces i travel alot- at least a 1000 miles a month when im in the uk, so id need a fuel tanker following me every where lol. But thanks for the info, ill defo look into that and try and find this buch lad. Im in norway on deployment atm so if you find him before me can you send me his user name. Whats your LCR kicking out then? thanks again mate

Mine is only about 265-270 but I am hoping to have a meth kit on it in the near future; but have also been looking at those evos!! The 8's and 9's are slightly better service periods, 4500miles instead of 3000miles..still pretty terrible!!

Or for around £10000 you can get a car like this that does 0-60 in around 3.5 sec and not much will stay with it in the corners:D

The LCR is the daily driver for the mrs and the Westfield was the toy, it is road legal but it mainly got used on track days, it had 230hp, weighed 500kg, slicks and a Quaife pro gearbox makes a very quick track car
