since the damp weather has set in a discussion opened up re clearing the windows, so is it best to
a use the right hand screen clear button above the heated rear screen button, or
b use the right button of the centre 3 above the digital display
both with air con of course.

I imagine the auto window setting controls the fan speed as well as the direction, where as the other button just controls the direction.

Get some silica bags as dessicant in the car. Same little bags of silica you get with trainers etc to stop any moisture buildup. Itll absorb the moisture so it doesnt end up on your screen. You can get little bags on ebay. Then they dry out with warmth of car to absorb some more.

You can buy dedicated car dehumidifier bagsbags, I got one from Halford for under a £10er and I think it works, but time will tell over the winter.

Mine is a bit like this http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...d=10001&catalogId=10151&langId=-1&mode=search

Well guys, I have a 1.5kg dehumidifier bag in the car and it helps but needs regular drying out to keep it working fine, I use windscreen setting on full blast with aircon on, but, what do folk suggest using for anti mist, several on the market so which work best. TA.
Also having window open an inch all the time help, even overnight, and the heater off for a bit before the end of the journey but carrying a big dog does make life difficult, is all VW/AUDI group or just SEAT that are a pain.

Ensure you have your air con on when de misting. The air con dries the moist air. When I press the de mist button it automatically puts air con on and warm temperature obviously.
