Hi all new to LCR and the forum, can anyone tell me the best place to get a LCR mapped in the north west, whats the max's bhp i could get with an exhaust and filter mod?thanks
If you do a 'search' for remaps you'll come up with loads of options - Jabba, APR, Custom Code etc. etc. The debate of which is 'best' has never been resolved...
A remap alone on a 225 LCR could push it up to 265-ish, an exhaust would add a little more on top too...

performance torque in wolverhampton are doing re-maps for 225 quid until the end of january and i drove down from scotland to get mine done. fantastic value and highly recomended. will is a really nice guy and knows what he's talking about. custom code also seem to be well thought of at the moment. whoever you go with you'll love the difference mate.
i'm seriously tempted by custom code for my LCR. the map i've got at the moment (i'm not saying what it is for now though) is not that great if i'm honest. does anybody know if the free revo trial can be put onto a car that has already been remapped?
Don't see why not - a re-map just writes new code to the ECU so it doesn't matter if what is there is SEAT or some other software, it will get overwritten just the same.
Side note - P-Torque for me all the way. Not to far from the North East I would imagine and the drive back is 'amusing'
Custom code is very smooth and will not light the tyres as quickly as the Revo, have driven LCR with both maps and IMHO the custom code was more usable and held more boost at top end. MRC tuning.com use a good map as my friends S3 flies and my old S4 was super fast when mapped by them!!
thanks guys for all the replies, been a scooby driver and an evo driver from start, soam looking for the most bhp and torque i can possibly get.thank you all for the advise
I have the revo on mine and allthough is very good i would recoment doing all the shockers and springs also dogbone rubbers as you will just end up burning the rubber off your tires
I would recomend getting a electronic boost controller just for them lazy days though when you dont want to race everywhere coz if its nutter all the time you will be

if i could i would re mapp it today, but the guy who i am buying the car off is messing me around and i cant seem to find another car in that price range, but at least it gives me time to do some research.
thanks to everyone who have replied to this thread,it helps me a lot.really appreciate it.
another thing to consider is the Turbo Inlet Pipe "collapses" at 5k or something on the 210 and 225 LCR after stage 1 remap, see this vid off the forge site of the 225 TT engine "collapsing"
