hehe.. ok well my best mpg was 59. thats on quite a hard driven non stop 250 mile run to Devon from MK, me and 1 passenger. dropped back to 56 after the return 250 miles though.
I posted in another thread recently but I do a 45-50mi commute to work and I get an average of 38-42mpg every week. That's about 375-400mi per tank.
it's a 35ltr tank in the cupra isn't it? which is ~7 or 8 gallons from a rough estimate?
So taking the 40mpg mean I should technically only get 320mi on a tank? so the average mpg reading is actually low?? Maybe it's cos I top my tank up till the pump clicks a few times.
The tank on the ibiza is 45 litres or 10 gallons. When I filll up after my fuel light has come on I can fit about 40-41 litres in the tank.
And as were on the subject I manage 200 to a tank around 22mpg, Mixture of town and traffic driving 35 mile a day, I just can't stop my size 11's using the full depth of the loud pedal.
lol was playing hard last week and managed an average of 22.6 mpg and got 239miles out of the tank full to empty thats 0miles left on the trip and gauge on zero, topped it up and cost £43 at 94.9p per litre, thats 45 litre. And being sensible driving speed limit town and 15mins on dual carriage way everyday im getting 32mpg. Also my cars k03s and goodies around 230bhp.
i managed just over 44mpg when i was driving to and from Fife each day, that was driving like and old woman but. Generally i get 34mpg going to work and back.
so why are u lot getting such good economy? I drove loads of motorway, only with the occsaional blast, mostly drove between 60 and 90mph coz if traffic and what not, and im not even going to get 300 miles to my full tank..
